Edina, Minnesota, is a suburb of Minneapolis and is home to approximately 47,000 people. This suburb features three major shopping centers: 50th and France, The Galleria and Southdale Shopping Center. Most of the Chinese restaurants in Edina re located within these shopping areas. P.F. Chang’s China Bistro

P.F. Chang’s China Bistro is an upscale chain restaurant with locations across the United States. Its trendy decor and low lighting make it an ideal dining option for a date or a special occasion. The Edina location is situated inside the Southdale Shopping Center. With its convenient mall location, this restaurant gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights. However, reservations are accepted and can be made via their website. Valet parking and an indoor patio in the mall’s hallway are available. The menu consists of a variety of Chinese-American dishes including chicken and pork entrees, noodle bowls and salads. For dessert, try the banana spring rolls.

Hot Wok Chinese Cuisine

Hot Wok Chinese Cuisine is a small Chinese restaurant located one block from the 50th and France shopping area. All dishes are hand made and created with Minnesota and Wisconsin-grown ingredients. Hot Wok’s menu features a mix of traditional Chinese entrees and signature dishes. Although most entrees contain meat, Hot Wok has 24 vegetation dishes, including curry mock duck and kung pao tofu. A lunch menu is available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offers a choice of two entrees with a side of rice or low mien. Catering is available.

Szechuanstar Star

Szechuanstar Star is a sit-down Chinese restaurant with a casual atmosphere. Most of the menu consists of Chinese-American entrees, such as pineapple fish filet, cashew chicken and crispy sea bass, but a few traditional dishes are served. If everything looks tasty, a buffet is available. Szechuanstar Star’s signature hot tea is served with all meals. This restaurant is located across the street from the Southdale Shopping Center.
